At the invitation of Lo schermo dell’arte and together with artist Roberto Fassone, I have created and conducted L’Isolotto che non c’è: a workshop inviting 80+ students from a secondary school in Florence to experiment with moving images.
I co-designed activities and games engaging students with the exploration of their neighbourhood through a movie camera, towards the creation of a collaborative short film.
L’Isolotto che non c’è is a project in collaboration with Roberto Fassone, produced by Lo schermo dell’arte as part of Oltre lo schermo, a project curated by Alessandra Fredianelli and Valeria Mancinelli aimed at teachers and students of the I.C. Statale Pirandello in the Isolotto district of Florence.
The project has been made within the framework of the Piano Nazionale Cinema e Immagini per la Scuola promoted by MiC e MI, and thanks to the contribution of a contribution from Fondazione CR Firenze in the framework of “PARTECIPAZIONE CULTURALE”.
